Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so Rijeka's clubs are packed: a two-floor vampire party, a metal gig, an all-night rave and even kizomba in costume.
How to pick your Halloween night
Rijeka offers three very different kinds of Halloween night. For free entry and a costumed crowd, Palach and the kizomba night at Mirage Bar charge nothing at the door. For live music, The Beertija has a three-band metal bill with limited capacity, so buy early. For dancing all night, there are big parties at Exportdrvo, Pogon and Crkva.

Tips for Halloween in Rijeka
- The costume counts. Several parties run best-costume contests, and Palach brings back its Scream Queen contest.
- Limited capacity. Smaller clubs fill quickly; where there is a presale, use it.
- Clocks go back. Winter time starts a week earlier, on October 25, so it is dark by about 5pm on Halloween.
- Getting home. Night buses are rare; book a taxi or a lift in advance, especially from Exportdrvo on Delta.

Halloween falls on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The earliest is the charity Strašan Pregame at Circolo from 8pm; evening parties in Rijeka start between 9pm and 10pm. The longest is Greenlight Halloween 360º at Pogon Kulture, from 10pm to 8am.
Are there free Halloween parties in Rijeka?

Halloween at The Beertija costs €6.66, Strašan Pregame €25 (€30 on the day, drinks included in the donation ticket), A Different Halloween in Delnice €10 (€5 for children under 12), and Greenlight at Pogon from €10 for a limited batch to €15 after midnight. Where can I go for Halloween with children?
In Rijeka, Pavil1on Gastroteka runs an all-day programme for kids and adults, with free face painting for children and a magic show. Društvo naša djeca Fužine, an association of parents and children, starts early: its Halloween party at Dom kulture Lič begins at 5pm. A Different Halloween in Delnice starts at 6pm with a lantern walk on Japlenški vrh and ends with a fire show and a DJ until 10pm; it is open to everyone aged 5 and over.
